I doubt I would pick it up either, if not for the fact that it is on my Booker longlist.Athirahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03366654538383603004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5258224106731736323.post-31498890705696900042010-08-23T08:34:21.897-04:002010-08-23T08:34:21.897-04:00It's the same author. I liked Room, but to be quite honest, I probably wouldn't have bought it, given the subject matter, if it weren't on the Booker longlist this year.NancyOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12027036137062767840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5258224106731736323.post-81264766413083728582010-08-23T08:26:31.492-04:002010-08-23T08:26:31.492-04:00I will probably read this book. The thing is, though, that books that do become hot items keep the bookstores in business...and that's okay by me.NancyOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12027036137062767840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5258224106731736323.post-17463327550871851362010-08-22T15:51:12.673-04:002010-08-22T15:51:12.673-04:00This sounds so creepy and that it is based on a tr...This sounds so creepy and that it is based on a true story is even creepier.

It is funny how we, as book bloggers, can now start to put our fingers on books that are going to hit big.
